Specifications

Flow configuration (Campaigns>Flows) now provides the ability to create a flow based on whether a customer has opted in to marketing communications. Specifically, the If/Else block's Condition options now includes a Customer has SMS opt-in setting. Use this in conjunction with the segment builder's SMS opt-in options (see below) to create campaigns that send SMS and email messages to customers who have opted in to SMS messages, or to create campaigns that only send email message to customers who have not opted in to SMS messages.

Segment configuration (Campaigns>Segments) now provides the ability to create audience segments based on customers who have opted in to SMS messages (for SMS and email messages) or to create audience segments based on customers who have not opted in to SMS messages (for only email messages). Specifically, the segment Customer condition options now includes a Has SMS opt-in setting; set to True to include customers who have opted in to SMS messages (eligible for SMS and email messages) and set to False to include customers who have not opted in to SMS messages (eligible only for email messages).
