Enhancement(s)

Campaigns

  • Catalyst now includes a built-in emoji picker in SMS/MMS message editors, making it easier to add more engaging, eye-catching content to your customer messaging. Users can open the emoji picker from the message composer, search by keyword, browse categories, and insert emojis directly at the cursor or replace selected text without disrupting the editing experience. Character count and message segment calculations update immediately after an emoji is added, so you can clearly see any impact on SMS length or encoding using Catalyst’s existing rules. Emojis also display correctly in the message preview, campaign preview areas, and saved messages, while existing validations continue to work as expected.

Compliance

  • Message delivery caps are updated. SMS message delivery limits are now set to 2 messages per day (24 hours) and 8 messages per month (30 days), while email message delivery caps are now set to 1 message per day (24 hours) and unlimited messages per month (30 days). The Settings panel has also been updated so the default opt-in text now reflects these new delivery cap options, making it easier to understand current message limits at a glance. This change helps ensure your campaign settings are clearer and aligned with the latest delivery rules.
  • Catalyst now handles messaging delivery caps more intelligently to help protect your campaigns and reduce failed sends. If a targeted recipient reaches its SMS or email delivery cap, Catalyst will pause message retries instead of continuing to retry while the account is still capped. Once sending eligibility is restored, messages will automatically resume, and normal retry limits will still be enforced from that point forward. This makes campaign delivery more reliable and predictable for carwash operators, especially when managing capped messaging activity.

Opt-In

  • Catalyst now gives users more control over opt-in (promo consent) messages, making it easier to tailor consent language to business and compliance needs. Users can now edit the entire message, including content that was previously fixed, and the maximum character limit has been increased from 130 to 160 characters. Catalyst will prevent saving opt-in messages that exceed the new 160-character limit, helping you stay within the allowed length while customizing your message. Existing saved opt-in messages also remain editable under the updated rules, and outdated guidance suggesting that part of the message cannot be changed has been removed.

Resolved Issue(s)

  • General fixes.
