FLOWS
The Flows panel, accessible by selecting Campaigns>Flows from the Catalyst main menu, provides the ability to create new campaign flows, and view and manage existing flows. A flow is a block-scheme, or algorithm, that defines when and how a message is sent to a campaign's recipient(s); it can control whether the message is sent to all recipients at once, or individually to a recipient upon the occurrence of some specified criteria.
Search
The search tool provides the ability to locate a specific flow by all or part of its Name or Campaign. Note: Search ignores archived flows (Status is Archived) unless Show archived is selected.
- The list auto-updates as soon as one (1) character is entered in the search tool; selecting Enter or the search icon isn't necessary to trigger the system to search (although selecting either will trigger the search function slightly faster).
- Search returns matches for any part of a flow's name or campaign, for example, a search for as would return all of the following flows: flow with Name set to "Reduce Unlimited Wash Churn" and flow assigned to a campaign with Name set to "Wash Churn Reduction".
- Restore the list to all flows by clearing the search input.
ADD FLOW
The function opens the Add Flow panel, where a new flow can be created and configured.
Flows List
The flows list displays all existing flows.
Note: The flows list does not display archived flows by default, but they can be displayed by selecting Show archived.
Name
The Name column provides the name of the flow. Select a flow's name to view its configuration settings and a preview of the flow in the Flow Properties panel.
Campaign
The Campaign column identifies the campaign(s), if any, to which the message is assigned. An en dash (-) appears here if the message isn't assigned to a campaign.
Note: A message can be assigned to multiple campaigns at the same time.
Date
The Date column identifies the date the flow was created.
Status
The Status column identifies the current status of the flow.
Active
The Active flow status indicates the flow is assigned to an active campaign. Note that active flows can't be edited.
Archived
The Archived flow status indicates the flow is assigned to an archived campaign. Note that archived flows can be restored.
Inactive
The Inactive flow status indicates the flow is either not assigned to any campaign or assigned to an inactive campaign.
Actions
The Actions column provides access to functions that can be used to manage an existing flow. There are five (5) actions. However, the availability of these actions is dependent upon the flow's status, whether it's assigned to a campaign, and whether the campaign is active.

Edit
Opens the flow in the Edit Flow panel.
Restore
Changes a flow's Status from Archived to Inactive.
Duplicate
Opens the Duplicate Flow panel and creates a new flow using the existing flow's settings.
Archive
Changes a flow's Status to Archived to hide it from the list. An archived flow can be viewed with the Show archived function, as well as restored.
Note: Archived flows can't be assigned to a campaign.
Delete
Permanently removes the flow from Catalyst. This action is only available for flows that are not assigned to a campaign.
Show archived
By default, archived flows are not included in the flows list. The Show archived function updates the flows list to include archived flows.
List Navigation
The list navigation tools at the bottom of the panel provide the ability to navigate the list of flows.
- Use the Go to page function to open a specific page by entering it in the provided field.
- Use the numeric page functions to navigate one page at a time.
- Use the last page >> and first page << functions to navigate to the end or start of the list.
